Job summary

Aspire People Limited is recruiting for a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant in Staffordshire to support pupils with autism, communication needs, and other SEND requirements within specialist education settings.

You'll work on a 1:1 and small-group basis with a calm, patient approach, across day-to-day and longer-term placements. Level 3 TA qualification (or Level 3 Health & Social Care) is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or Level 3 Health & Social Care
• Experience supporting children or young people
• Genuine interest in working within SEND
• Calm, patient and consistent approach
• Confidence supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Flexibility to work across various SEN settings

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with autism, communication needs and other SEND.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group assistance throughout the day.
• Contribute to a calm and supportive learning environment.
