Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools in Manchester and the surrounding area. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, assist with planning and delivering learning activities, and help pupils develop confidence, resilience and independent learning.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• UK-based experience in a school (min 6 months).
• Experience supporting pupils across the primary age range.
• Strong understanding of classroom support and pupil development.
• Confident supporting pupils with SEND.
• Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
• Patient, adaptable and committed to helping pupils succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils.
• Support pupils with SEND, learning difficulties and additional needs.
• Assist with planning and delivering learning activities.
• Support phonics, Maths, English and curriculum-based interventions.
• Help pupils build confidence, independence and resilience.
• Support positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs and other staff.
• Monitor and record pupil progress.
