Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistants across Staffordshire to support pupils in specialist education settings, ensuring pupils access learning and reach their potential.

You will work with pupils who may have autism, communication needs, complex learning difficulties, SEMH and challenging behaviour, providing 1:1 or small-group support throughout the school day, both inside and outside the classroom.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is required.
• Experience supporting children or young people in SEND settings is preferred.
• A calm, patient and consistent approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with autism, communication needs, and complex learning difficulties in specialist settings.
• Provide 1:1 support and small-group assistance across the day.
• Be flexible to work across a variety of SEN settings.
