Job summary

Aspire People Limited is recruiting Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Staffordshire in specialist education settings. You could be assisting pupils with autism, communication needs, complex learning difficulties, SEMH and challenging behaviour.

Ideal candidates will hold Level 3 TA or Level 3 Health & Social Care, have experience with children or young people, and show a calm, patient, and flexible approach to 1:1 and small-group support across various SEN settings.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TA qualification or Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
• Experience supporting children or young people.
• Genuine interest in working within SEND.
• Calm, patient and consistent approach.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with autism, communication needs and complex learning difficulties.
• Assist in 1:1 and small-group settings across a variety of SEN environments.
• Contribute to safeguarding and pupil welfare during placements.

Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant or have a background in Health & Social Care? Aspire People are currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants across Staffordshire to support pupils within specialist education settings.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys making a real difference to young people who may require additional support throughout the school day. You could be supporting pupils with autism, communication needs, complex learning difficulties, SEMH and challenging behaviour.

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or Level 3 Health & Social Care
• Previous experience supporting children or young people
• A genuine interest in working within SEND
• A calm, patient and consistent approach
• Confidence supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
• The flexibility to work across a variety of SEN settings
