Job summary

Tiny Toez in Normacot, Stoke-on-Trent, is seeking an Early Years practitioner to deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS. The role involves planning activities, observing progress, and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment for all children.

Strong teamwork and excellent communication are essential. Applicants should hold a Level 3 childcare qualification and have experience in a nursery or early years setting.

Job description

Hours 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 6pm, all year round

Location Normacot, Stoke-on-Trent, ST3 4RF

Qualification Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS
• Plan and support age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children
• Observe, assess and record children's progress
• Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety policies are followed at all times

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant Level 3 childcare qualification in Early Years or equivalent - essential
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting - essential
• Safeguarding Level 1 and 2, Paediatric First Aid and Level 2 Food Safety - desirable (core training is provided)
