ACR Recruitment & Training Ltd are delighted to be supporting a welcoming nursery in Leicester with the recruitment of an experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner.

You will care for children aged 0-4, support learning under the EYFS framework, and work within a safeguarding-conscious team to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and thrive.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare is essential.
• Previous experience in a UK nursery or Early Years setting is required.
• Solid understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0-4.
• Support children's development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.

Location: Leicester, LE3
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours per week | All year round
Shift Patterns:

• Early: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
• Late: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm
• Salary: Up to £27,040 per annum

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Early Years professional to join a supportive nursery team and contribute to the care, learning and development of children aged 0-4 years.

You will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0-4
• Support children's development in line with the EYFS framework
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Complete observations and contribute to children's learning records
• Support children's individual needs and development
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies

• Contribute to maintaining high standards of care and provision

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare - essential
• Previous experience working within a UK nursery or Early Years setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child development
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A caring, enthusiastic and professional approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a busy nursery team
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
