Job summary

Education Matters Group in Northwest London is seeking an exceptional Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a small, nurturing early years setting. The role focuses on high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS, with a key-person approach and strong emphasis on safeguarding and development through play, art, music, storytelling and child-led activities.

Salary ranges £25,000–£30,000 per year, dependent on experience. Full-time, permanent contract, working Monday to Friday year-round.

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.

About the Role We are currently recruiting for an exceptional Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a small, nurturing and creative early years setting in Northwest London.

The nursery provides a warm and supportive environment where children learn through play, strong relationships and imaginative experiences. The setting places a strong focus on developing children's curiosity, confidence and creativity through art, music, storytelling and child-led play.

Key Responsibilities

• Warm, reliable and enthusiastic, with the ability to work effectively as part of a small team.

Desirable

• Previous experience working within an early year setting.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification, or willingness to complete training.
• Experience with observations, assessments and planning.
• Experience supporting children with SEND or additional needs.
• Please do not apply if you do not hold a Level 3 or higher in Early years.
