Job summary

Smile Education is seeking a Reception Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Wolverhampton, starting ASAP. You will support a Year 1 class and provide one-to-one help, including SEN support, to help children settle from EYFS to KS1.

The role values a Level 3 TA qualification, strong communication, and experience in EYFS/Year 1, with competitive weekly pay and ongoing placement support.

Qualifications

• EYFS and Year 1 settings experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with pupils, staff and parents.
• Proven school-based experience supported by strong references.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning in a Year 1 classroom.
• Provide one-to-one support for a child with SEN.
• Assist with interventions to aid academic and social development.
• Help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure appropriate support.
