Smile Education Recruitment is recruiting a Reception Teaching Assistant for a Wolverhampton primary school, starting ASAP. The role focuses on supporting a Year 1 class and a child with SEN, delivering targeted interventions and fostering an inclusive classroom.

The position offers flexible opportunities, with competitive weekly pay and a dedicated consultant to assist you throughout placement, plus a referral scheme of up to £200 per successful referral.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirable.
• Experience in EYFS and Year 1 settings is preferred.
• Ability to support learning with patience and adaptability.
• Strong communication with pupils, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within a Year 1 classroom.
• Provide 1:1 support for a child with SEN.
• Assist with interventions to support academic and social development.
• Help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure pupils receive needed support.
