Job summary

TeacherActive Limited in Selly Oak is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work full-time on a long-term basis, with potential to go permanent. You will support primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs, ASC and communication difficulties, following bespoke behaviour and risk plans.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs.
• Experience supporting pupils with ASC and communication needs.
• Understanding trauma-informed practice and attachment theory.
• Ability to implement bespoke behaviour and risk management plans.
• Calm, resilient, and confident approach to supporting pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support primary-aged pupils with SEMH and ASC in daily activities.
• Follow bespoke behaviour, support and risk management plans.
• Contribute to assessments and progress monitoring.
