Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council seeks a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for Aberaeron Primary School. You will support pupils, including those with additional needs, and assist teachers with lessons and resources, fostering inclusion and positive behaviour.

The role requires fluency in Welsh and English, experience with children, ICT skills, and an NVQ 3 or equivalent. DBS check is required, and safeguarding is a priority. Closing date is 17 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Welsh and English is required.
• Experience of working with or caring for children is essential.
• Able to use ICT effectively to support learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
• Work with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
• Assist with development of Individual Education and Behaviour Plans.
• Promote inclusion, independence and positive behaviour in the classroom.
