Job summary

Ysgol Gynradd Gymunedol Tal-y-bont is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils and work with teachers to deliver engaging lessons. The role focuses on inclusion, safeguarding, and building confidence across the classroom.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ 3 or equivalent, good literacy/numeracy, and the ability to use ICT to support learning. Fluency in Welsh and English is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide support to pupils, including those with additional needs, helping them access learning.
• Work with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
• Support the development of Individual Education and Behaviour Plans.
• Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour.
• Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and wider school activities.
