Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a large, well regarded Primary school in Ramsey. The role is full time and starts in September/October 2026.

You will work closely with teachers to provide high-quality learning support, helping pupils reach their full potential in a safe, inclusive environment. The role offers excellent daily rates paid via PAYE and a supportive consultative team.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities.
• Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons, resources, and displays.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
• Monitor and record pupils' progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Help maintain a positive, orderly classroom environment.
• Promote inclusion and support the emotional and social development of pupils.
• Supervise pupils during breaks, lunchtimes, and on school trips as required.
