St Marys Catholic Primary is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with ALN in our Lower Junior department. The role involves one-to-one, small group and classroom support, helping the pupil access learning and work towards IDP targets, under the guidance of the class teacher and ALNCo.
You will promote independence, wellbeing and positive engagement, build strong relationships with pupils, families and staff, and contribute to reviewing IDP targets.

The governors of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and suitably experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and innovative team within our very happy, caring and inclusive school community.
The successful candidate will provide support for a pupil with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in our Lower Junior department. Working closely with the class teacher and ALNCo, they will support the implementation of the pupil's Individual Development Plan (IDP), helping them to achieve their individual targets, access learning successfully and participate fully in all aspects of school life.
The role will include a combination of one-to-one, small group and classroom support, addressing the pupil's academic, social and emotional needs while promoting independence, confidence and wellbeing.
The successful applicant will contribute to the review and delivery of IDP targets, monitor progress and provide regular feedback to teaching staff and the ALNCo.
