Exclusive Education Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school to provide a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for 1:1 support with a Year 6 pupil with SEMH needs. You will help regulate emotions, build trusting relationships and support learning throughout the day.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 TA qualification (or equivalent), strong behaviour management, calm and patient approach, and an Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

Qualificações

• Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting children with SEMH or similar needs.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 6 pupil with SEMH needs throughout the school day.
• Build a strong, trusting relationship with the pupil.
• Support emotional regulation and the development of social skills.
• Implement behaviour support strategies in line with school policies.
• Encourage engagement in learning and promote independence.
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support staff.
• Help create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment.
• Support the pupil during transitions, breaktimes and classroom activities.

Are you a resilient, compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child's life? We are recruiting on behalf of a primary school seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 6 pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for an individual who can build positive relationships, provide consistent support and help a pupil achieve their full potential both academically and emotionally.

The Role

• * Provide dedicated support to a Year 6 pupil with SEMH needs throughout the school day.
