Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Trafford. Based in KS2, you will support teachers, work 1:1 with SEND students, and help develop social, emotional, and academic skills.

You will monitor progress and contribute to an inclusive classroom environment, with opportunities for professional development and ongoing guidance from a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
• Experience working with SEND students is beneficial but not essential.
• A positive and flexible approach with a genuine passion for working with children.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting the individual needs of students.

Responsibilities

Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Location: Trafford

Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday), ASAP Start

Salary: £93 - £100 PAYE per day (dependent on experience)

Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

About the Role

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our a Primary School in Trafford. Based in KS2, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support to students in a nurturing classroom. You will also work 1:1 with students with SEND across the class.
