Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking ambitious KS2 Teaching Assistants for North Liverpool primary schools.

You will provide one-to-one support to KS2 pupils with additional needs, assist teachers, and help implement individual education plans in a caring, inclusive setting. The role offers multiple full- and part-time positions, with a focus on building skills and experience in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH or similar needs.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Experience in a school or child-centered setting.

Responsibilities

• One-to-one support for a KS2 pupil with additional needs.
• Assist class teacher and work primarily one-to-one to support designated tasks.
• Support learning activities and monitor progress of individual education plans.
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support team.
• Implement consistent routines and tailored intervention plans.
• Promote a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Are you an ambitious teaching assistant looking for a rewarding role in a primary school? We are seeking experienced and passionate KS2 Teaching Assistants for our North Liverpool based primary schools.We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary schools that require dedicated Teaching Assistants to support Key Stage 2 pupils with additional support needs. There are a range of full and part time roles available to enhance your skills, knowledge and experience as a Teaching Assistant

Main Duties

• One-to-one support for a KS2 pupil additional needs
• Assist with a child in class under the direction of the teacher, working primarily in a one-to-one capacity to support with designated tasks in both class lessons and play, and outside of the classroom
• Under the direction of the class teacher support learning activities and work with the individual, assisting in the implementation, and monitoring of progress, of individual education programmes
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support team
• Implementing consistent routines and tailored intervention plans
• Promoting a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Personal Qualities

• Experience supporting children with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or similar needs
• Possess energy and enthusiasm
• Works well within a team
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• A passion for making a difference in children's lives
• Previous experience in a school or child-centred setting
