Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in a primary school setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, patient and proactive approach to supporting children.
• Flexible and adaptable to different school environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to teachers and pupils across a variety of subjects.
• Work 1:1 or with small groups to assist learning and development.
• Assist with planning, preparing and delivering lessons.
• Encourage positive behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and support intervention strategies.
• Assist with classroom management and maintain a safe environment.
