Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD in Trafford is seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Trafford. Based in KS2, you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support and 1:1 with SEND.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with hours 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, ASAP start. Salary £93-£100 PAYE per day, dependent on experience. Opportunities for professional development and supportive placement.

Qualifications

Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent.
Experience with SEND is beneficial.
Positive, flexible approach and passion for working with children.
Strong communication and relationship-building with students and staff.
Patience and empathy.

Responsibilities

Assist with the delivery of learning activities and lessons for students with SEND.
Provide one-to-one support or work with small groups of students.
Help students develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
Contribute to creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
