Job summary

All Saints CE Primary School is seeking a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to work with a pupil or pupils who have Education Health Care Plans. The successful candidate will be understanding, reliable and dedicated, providing support under the guidance of the Class Teacher and SENCo.

The role is fixed term until 31 August 2027, linked to EHCP funding. Working hours are 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time plus 5 training days.

Qualifications

• GCSE/GCSE-equivalent in Mathematics and English Language must be provided.
• DBS check is required and the post is subject to safeguarding checks.
• Right to work in the UK must be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Support a child/children with Education Health Care Plans under the guidance of the Class Teacher and SENCo.
• Provide a caring, reliable role model and support pupil learning within timetabled curriculum time.
• Attend visits to the school as required and participate in meetings if needed.
