Job summary

Chase Buchanan in West Drayton is seeking an Assistant Letting Manager to support and develop the lettings team while driving new business in a busy market. This role reports to the Lettings Manager and requires strong communication, market knowledge and a proactive, target-driven approach.

The position offers a base salary of £28,500 per annum, with full UK driving duties and a branch-focused, customer-facing environment. Prior lettings experience and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential lettings and proven ability to win new business.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience mentoring lettings staff and driving team performance.
• Local market knowledge and up-to-date lettings legislation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market appraisals and win lettings and property management instructions.
• Build relationships with landlords, applicants and clients.
• Identify opportunities to win business from competing agents.
• Support and motivate the lettings team to meet branch targets.
• Lead morning meetings and manage the office when required.
• Monitor activities: viewings, offers, applicant registrations and business generation.
• Match applicants to properties and conduct viewings.
• Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants.
• Provide landlords with updates on marketing, viewings and offers.
• Progress lets through referencing, compliance and tenancy progression.
• Maintain records across company systems.
• Support induction, coaching and development of team members.
