Job summary

Chase Buchanan is seeking an ambitious Assistant Lettings Manager for our West Drayton office. You will work closely with the Lettings Manager, driving new business and supporting a thriving lettings team in a fast-paced environment.

You'll lead by example, manage market appraisals, and ensure exceptional service to landlords and tenants, with a strong focus on compliance, Right to Rent and progressive team development.

Qualifications

• Experience within residential lettings
• Proven track record conducting market appraisals
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Experience mentoring lettings team
• Knowledge of lettings legislation and Right to Rent

Responsibilities

• Conduct market appraisals and win new lettings and property management instructions.
• Build relationships with landlords, applicants and clients.
• Identify opportunities to win business from competing agents.
• Support and motivate the lettings team to achieve branch targets.
• Lead morning meetings and take responsibility for the office when required.
• Monitor team activity: viewings, offers, applicant registrations and business generation.
• Match applicants to properties and conduct viewings.
• Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants.
• Provide landlords with updates on marketing activity, viewings and offers.
• Progress lets through referencing, compliance and tenancy progression.
• Maintain records across systems.
• Support induction, coaching and development of team members.
• Ensure branch operates professionally and in line with lettings legislation including Right to Rent requirements
