You will handle landlord and tenant enquiries, arrange viewings, negotiate lets, reference applicants, and prepare tenancy agreements, while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in lettings or property management is preferred.
• Full driving license and access to own car.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work Saturdays as required.

Responsibilities

• Deal with landlord and tenant enquiries and communications.
• Prepare lettings particulars with the Valuer and check background details.
• Arrange and conduct property viewings.
• Negotiate lets through to move in.
• Reference potential tenants.
• Prepare tenancy agreements and other notices.
• Assist with business generation and client feedback.
• Provide up-to-date information to applicants and landlords.
• Maintain an accurate database and support market appraisals.

Location: Watford
Salary - £24,000 - £25,000 OTE £36,000 - £42,000
Hours: 5-day week including Saturdays - Monday to Thursday 9am – 6:30pm, Friday 9am – 6pm,
Every Saturday 10am – 3pm with Tuesday off

Our client is a dynamic and well-established estate agency based in Watford, with a growing reputation for delivering a high level of service across the property market.

They are currently seeking a confident, experienced and driven Lettings Consultant who can value properties and hit the ground running.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious property professional to join this friendly, talented team and play a key role within a proactive and expanding business. The successful candidate will predominantly be working across the mid to high-end lettings market, dealing with High end properties and clients.

The ideal candidate will be intelligent, articulate and a motivated individual who has a genuine passion for property, excellent communication skills and the drive to succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Dealing with Landlord and Tenant enquiries, answering phone calls and emails
• Preparation of lettings particulars, in conjunction with the Valuer, checking of background details and emailing relevant applicants when required
• Arranging /conducting property viewings
• Negotiating lets through to move in
• Referencing potential tenants
• Preparation of Tenancy Agreements and other legal notices
• Assisting with business generation
• Providing Applicants and Landlords with regular feedback
• Providing high levels of customer service
• Research and compile valuations as required for new, current and potential clients
• Carrying out Market Appraisals and winning new business
• Generating T&C’s
• Maintain an up-to-date database
