Job summary

Pear Recruitment is seeking a Lettings Negotiator for a position in Loughton. You will register applicants, arrange viewings, and negotiate tenancy terms while building strong landlord and tenant relationships. The role requires UK lettings knowledge and a driving licence, with a permanent, on-site work setup.

You will handle references, credit checks, and progression from offer to completion, while delivering excellent customer service within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months lettings experience as a Lettings Negotiator.
• Solid understanding of UK lettings legislation and tenancy procedures.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Register applicant enquiries and match tenants with properties.
• Arrange and conduct viewings with prospective tenants.
• Negotiate tenancy terms with landlords.
• Reference and credit checks.
• Update and maintain files ensuring that our terms of business, tenancy agreements etc are present and correct.
• Build and maintain strong landlord and tenant relationships.
• Progress tenancies efficiently from offer acceptance through to completion.
• Answer telephone and email enquiries.
• Promote property listings through digital portals and marketing channels.

Salary: Basic £20,000 – £23,000 OTE £30,000 – £35,000
Hours: Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm | Alt Sats 9am to 5pm (day off in lieu)

Essential Requirements

• 6 to 12 months of residential lettings experience as a Lettings Negotiator.
• Solid understanding of UK lettings legislation and tenancy procedures.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
• Excellent customer service
• Target-driven with a focus on achieving competitive KPIs.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
