Job summary

GCB Recruitment is seeking a Lettings Consultant in Dunmow to join a successful and award-winning property business. The role offers full training, uncapped commission, and clear opportunities for progression within a supportive team.

You will liaise with prospective tenants, match them to properties, conduct viewings, and build strong landlord-tenant relationships. Flexible full-time or part-time options and a realistic OTE are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in property, estate agency, or lettings is advantageous but not essential.
• Confident, professional communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Positive, enthusiastic and competitive approach.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential).

Responsibilities

The Role

• Liaise with prospective tenants to understand their requirements and circumstances
• Match applicants with suitable rental properties from the available portfolio
• Coordinate and conduct property viewings
• Build strong relationships with landlords and tenants
• Negotiate tenancy terms and agreements
• Undertake property valuations and present the company's services to prospective landlords
• Conduct periodic property inspections
• Deliver exceptional customer service face-to-face and over the telephone
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems

Lettings Consultant Requirements

• Previous experience in property, estate agency, or lettings is advantageous, but not essential
• Confident, professional communication skills
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
• Positive, enthusiastic, and competitive approach

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
