Job summary

Hamilton Woods Associates are recruiting on behalf of a renowned housing provider in West Yorkshire for a permanent Lettings and Leasehold Manager. The role is based in Kirklees with a hybrid pattern: two days in the office and three days at home.

You will lead lettings, tenancy and leasehold management, manage a team of four Housing Officers and a Lettings and Leasehold Officer, and shape neighbourhood activities, marketing and tenancy allocations.

Qualifications

• Experience within a housing management related role at supervisory or management level.
• Excellent knowledge of tenancy management, and/ or lettings and leasehold management.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Acting as lead on the organisation's lettings, leasehold and tenancy management, ensuring tenants receive an excellent level of service.
• Managing and mentoring a team of four Housing Officers and a Lettings and Leasehold Officer.
• Leading on plans for tenancy and estate visits and neighbourhood activities.
• Leading and overseeing marketing, allocation and letting of properties.
• Investigating complaints and providing responses in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Gaining and utilising customer insight and feedback.
• Contributing to policy development, developing procedures and ensuring best practice.
• Monitoring, measuring and quality checking performance.

Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working with a renowned housing provider in West Yorkshire to recruit to a Lettings and Leasehold Manager on a permanent basis.

Two days a week will be required in their offices in Kirklees, with three days working from home.

The team consists of four generic Housing Officers, and a Lettings and Leasehold Officer.

Responsibilities of the Lettings and Leasehold Manager includes:

• Acting as lead on the organisations lettings, leasehold and tenancy management, ensuring tenants receive an excellent level of service
