Job summary

Finlake Resort & Spa, part of Haulfryn, is seeking a Leisure Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our leisure facilities, including pools, gym and activities. You will lead the leisure team, ensure safety, quality customer service and commercial performance for owners, members and guests.

We want a hands-on professional with strong pool plant knowledge, health and safety expertise and the ability to drive standards across reception and membership services.

Qualifications

• Previous leisure, health club or holiday park operational experience.
• Detailed knowledge of swimming pool and pool plant operations.
• Experience in leading, supervising or developing a team.
• Strong understanding of health and safety in a leisure environment.
• Ability to implement SOPs, NOPs and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good commercial awareness with focus on revenue, retention and efficiency.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage changing priorities.
• Proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach.
• Full, valid UK driving licence may be required where driving is part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the leisure facilities, including pools, gym, reception, membership services and activities.
• Lead, support and develop the leisure team to ensure high standards.
• Ensure facilities are safe, clean, welcoming and operationally ready.
• Oversee pool operations, water testing and plant checks.
• Maintain a strong health and safety culture and ensure procedures are followed.
• Deliver a professional experience for owners, members and guests.
• Support reception and membership services, renewals and inquiries.
• Support commercial performance through membership growth and cost control.
• Identify operational issues and drive improvements to resolution.
• Collaborate with park management and other departments.
