Job summary

Legacy Leisure's Plas Menai site seeks a Leisure Duty Manager to lead daily operations across pool, gym and activity spaces. You will act as a rotating keyholder, supervise staff, ensure safety, and deliver an excellent customer experience.

The role blends shift leadership with practical coaching, including Learn to Swim tuition and gym inductions. With responsibility for compliance and high standards, you will support partnerships and staff development, providing a clear pathway for career

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications for working with swimming lessons and lifeguarding.
• Experience with health and safety regulations and pool plant operations.
• Ability to supervise multiple facilities and manage a rotating shift roster.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift management across wet and dry facilities, ensuring safety and customer care.
• Serve as primary keyholder for site security, opening/closing, and emergency calls.
• Deliver Learn to Swim lessons and gym inductions; supervise lifeguards and fitness staff.
• Support staff onboarding, CPD sessions, and cash handling procedures.
