Job summary

Places for People Group is seeking a Duty Manager to lead a busy leisure centre. The role involves managing a large team, recruiting and training staff, and addressing customer concerns while driving memberships. You will represent Places Leisure and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Flexibility for evenings, weekends and public holidays is required. A NPLQ qualification is essential, and a strong focus on customer service and leadership is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory/management capacity within a leisure facility is desirable.
• Becoming a registered first aider as Duty Manager, so first aid experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills are sought after.

Responsibilities

• Managing a large team and ensuring efficient day-to-day centre operations.
• Recruiting and training staff to maintain service standards.
• Deal with customer concerns and drive up memberships.
• Prepare reports and attend meetings as part of ongoing centre management.
• Represent Places Leisure and uphold safeguarding and quality standards.
