Job summary

Energas, part of the Air Liquide Group, seeks a Branch Operations Manager for Leicester to lead daily operations and sales activities, ensuring profitability and safety. The role drives customer experience, team engagement, and branch performance.

You will manage deliveries, stock, and process compliance, while mentoring staff and aligning with the Sales team to achieve targets and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a distribution environment.
• Excellent communication and people-management skills.
• Strong planning and scheduling abilities for orders and deliveries.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements relevant to the HASAW Act.
• Full, clean driving licence. Forklift licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily operational activities at the Leicester branch.
• Lead a high-performing team and drive customer-focused service.
• Review performance data to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with road transport legislation and stock control practices.
• Collaborate with Sales and Plant Manager to meet targets and safety standards.
