Legal Secretary – Property Team
Location: Belfast

Are you a detail-oriented and professional Legal Secretary with experience in residential and/or commercial property law?
Abacus is recruiting on behalf of a well-established legal practice that continues to expand and is now seeking a Legal Secretary to join its busy and high-performing Property team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced solicitors in a supportive, client-focused environment.

About the Role:
In this fast-paced role, you’ll provide vital support to the property team and help ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. Your key duties will include:

  • Preparing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence (audio and copy typing)
  • Managing files from instruction through to post-completion
  • Coordinating searches, Land Registry applications, and completion statements
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
  • Handling diary management and general administrative support.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 12 months+ legal secretarial experience, ideally within property/conveyancing
  • Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • A confident communicator with a professional and proactive attitude
  • Proficiency with legal case management systems and Microsoft Office
  • The ability to manage deadlines and work as part of a collaborative team.
