Legal Secretary – Corporate & Commercial Law
Location: Belfast City

Are you a proactive and organised Legal Secretary with at least 12 months’ experience in Corporate & Commercial law? Looking to join a forward-thinking, expanding law practice where your contribution is genuinely valued? We’re working with a highly respected and ambitious law firm that is looking to add a Legal Secretary to its thriving Corporate & Commercial team. The Role:

As a Legal Secretary in the Corporate & Commercial team, you will play a key role in supporting solicitors and partners with a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
  • General file / document management (digital and physical), audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence, managing docs to include scanning and printing of documents, e-filing and updating of fee earner files
  • Adhering to all manual and electronic filing systems
  • Client communication and general administrative support, dealing with telephone calls and assisting clients
  • Researching and summarising legal information
  • Assisting, amendment and preparation of legal documents (some large), contracts, and reports
  • Assisting relevant fee earners in the conduct of files as required

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum of 12 months’ experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Corporate or Commercial law
  • Excellent typing and IT skills (MS Office & case management systems)
  • Strong precision and attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • A professional and positive approach to work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work on own initiative
