A well-established law firm in Nuneaton is seeking a Legal Secretary/Assistant for its Private Client / Wills and Probate Team. The role includes secretarial support, client interaction, and preparation of legal documents. Candidates should have at least 12 months of experience within a Private Client Department of an SRA regulated law firm. Legal Secretary/Assistant - Wills, Trusts and Probate

Nuneaton - town centre location with free parking onsite

cGBP25,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant to join the busy Private Client / Wills and Probate Team of a well-established law firm at their office in Nuneaton.

The role will involve:

  • Provision of secretarial and administrative support to a busy Private Client / Wills and Probate team
  • Audio and copy typing of correspondence and legal documents
  • Liaising with clients by telephone, email and face to face
  • Assisting with the preparation of straight-forward Wills
  • Drafting LPA's
  • Liaising with solicitors and other third party professionals
  • Opening and setting up new cases on the system
  • Processing urgent post, filing non-urgent post, and logging correspondence onto a legal case management system
  • Preparation of invoices
  • Communicating with, and maintaining good relationships with clients

Suitable candidates will have

  • A minimum of 12 months experience of working with a Private Client Department of an SRA regulated law firm
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Computer literacy including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience of using a legal case management system
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
