Job summary

Pontoon Solutions is seeking a Legal Operations Specialist for a 12-month contract in Warwick. The role focuses on legal technology, digital transformation, spend management and operational excellence within a FTSE-listed organisation.

You will collaborate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Compliance, Digital and Technology teams to deliver data-driven, technology-enabled operations and drive process improvements across the legal function.

Qualifications

• Experience in Legal Operations or legal services or professional services.
• Proven ability to support legal spend management and e-billing processes.
• Strong reporting, data analysis, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage e-billing processes and automated invoice workflows.
• Monitor legal spend against budgets and identify variances.
• Produce spend reports, forecasts and management information.
• Support governance and financial control in the legal function.
• Maintain panel firm and external counsel records.
• Support external counsel performance reviews and governance.
• Assist with legal procurement exercises and tenders.
• Produce reporting on outside counsel performance and spend.
• Produce operational dashboards and management reports.
• Analyse spend, resource utilisation and trends.
• Provide insights for informed decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes.
• Develop guidance documents and training materials.
