Nub News is recruiting a Legal Operations Specialist for a 12-month contract in Warwick, UK. The role sits hybrid, with three days on site per week, and offers a competitive annual salary (£50,600–£54,879).

The successful candidate will drive legal operations transformation, focusing on legal tech, spend management, dashboards, and process improvements. You will collaborate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and IT to deliver data-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

2–5+ years' experience within Legal Operations, legal services, professional services, or a comparable operational environment.
Proven experience supporting legal spend management and e-billing processes.
Strong reporting, data analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial analysis.
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across Legal, Finance, and Operations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

Manage e-billing processes and automated invoice workflows.
Monitor legal spend against budgets, identifying variances and trends.
Produce legal spend reports, forecasts, and management information.
Support governance and financial control processes across the legal function.
Maintain panel firm and external counsel records; assist with governance activities.
Produce reporting relating to outside counsel performance and spend.
Support legal technology adoption and process improvements.
Coordinate user training and stakeholder engagement activities.
Produce operational dashboards and analytics.
