ADP is offering a 12-month paid legal internship in the UK, starting 30 August 2027, at our Staines office with hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days remote). The role focuses on corporate law and data privacy, providing hands-on practice and mentorship from a Legal Director.

You will participate in strategic projects, draft customer communications, review contracts, and support debt collection and regulatory activities. Mentorship and real-world experience are key aspects of the program.

THINGS YOU'LL DO:

• Get involved with strategic projects which the legal department is working on
• Learn about data privacy law and how it impacts customers and ADP itself
• Write letters to customers on a variety of matters
• Review contracts and understand the key important terms of those contracts and how they can be enforced
• Understand how any legal department organises itself globally and in country
• Incident management and the process of dealing with incidents within any business and work on root cause analysis documents
• Prepare training for parts of the business on legal and commercial matters
• Work with finance and credit control on debt collection matters understanding cash flow, customer insolvencies and company changes
• Understand some of the regulatory framework around a business

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

If your application is successful you will be invited for a telephone interview to discuss your skills and interest for the role. If successful after this you will be invited for a face to face interview at our Staines office along with a final stage interview with our Legal Director.
