ADP's Internship Programme in the UK is now live. We're seeking enthusiastic students undertaking a placement year to join us for a 12-month paid HR internship starting August 2027, at our Staines office.

You'll gain real-world HR experience across employee relations, onboarding, and policy coordination, with a dedicated mentor, hands-on practice, and hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days at home).

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate within Human Resources/ Business Management with HR

Responsibilities

  • Support a team of HR Business Partners across UK initiatives and sector tasks
  • Assist with Employee Relations issues to understand processes and witness how various procedures are conducted
  • Create letters relating to compensation, promotions and changes of terms and conditions of employment
  • Gain hands on experience with HR systems and analyze reports to provide meaningful insight
  • Build communication skills by interacting with teams and stakeholders to understand and prioritise requirements
  • Be part of a global HR team supporting a large matrix organisation with 60,000+ associates

THINGS YOU'LL DO:
  • Support a team of HR Business Partners across a range of people focused projects, including UK wide initiatives as well as sector specific tasks
  • Assist with Employee Relation issues such as grievances, disciplinaries and capability matters to better understand and witness how various processes are conducted in the workplace
  • Improve your knowledge and understanding of basic HR practices by creating a variety of letters relating to compensation, promotions and changes of terms and conditions of employment
  • Gain hands on experience with a range of systems, solving associate queries through our HR service delivery system or analysing reports and data to provide meaningful insight to the team
  • Build your communication skills by interacting with a variety of teams and stakeholders to understand and prioritise their different requirements
  • Be part of a global HR team that support a large matrix organisation with over 60,000 associates worldwide
