Job summary

Responsibilities

• Partner with the business to identify issues and solve problems
• Undertake initial title, planning and construction due diligence during site searches
• Review, draft, negotiate and advise on real estate and construction contracts
• Advise on landlord and tenant laws and their strategic application to the portfolio
• Manage external counsel appointments and translate legal advice for stakeholders
• Develop and maintain a precedent base
• Develop and provide training to the business
• Monitor legislation and leading practices and advise ahead of legislative changes to ensure compliance
• Report directly to the Senior Legal Counsel for Real Estate and Construction

• Partner with the business to identify issues proactively and solve problems
