Job summary

Ocado Retail seeks a qualified solicitor to provide day-to-day commercial legal guidance and act as a close business partner to enable proactive issue spotting and effective problem solving. You will review, draft and negotiate contracts across goods, services, logistics, IT and software, while advising on consumer, advertising and marketing law.

Qualified solicitor with post qualification experience as a general commercial lawyer.
Strong commercial awareness and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day legal advice to the business.
Act as a business partner to facilitate proactive issue spotting and problem solving.

Requirements

Consumer law experience, preferably Retail/eCommerce (preferred, not required)
Experience in one or more of competition law, employment law, Groceries Supply Code of Practice, or data protection (preferred, not required)
Private practice experience (preferred, not required)
