Job summary

Arden University is seeking a Lecturer in Law to deliver engaging workshops, lead modules, and coach students across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The role combines on-campus teaching with online delivery, requiring a flexible approach to fit student timetables.

You will deliver high-quality digital teaching and contribute to department growth while maintaining excellent student outcomes. 3 days on campus with some home working is expected.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate level in English Law required.
• Ability to teach across LLB curriculum including foundations and SQE modules.
• AdvanceHE Recognition - FHEA or willingness to achieve within 12-18 months.
• Experience in current teaching, learning and assessment in Higher Education to grow programmes.
• Supervision/training of junior legal staff considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging workshops face-to-face and online for campus-based and distance learning students.
• Act as a Personal Academic Coach (PAC) to support student engagement and progression.
• Take on module leadership with quality and development of learning materials.
• Design digital teaching materials for undergraduate and postgraduate study aligning with learning objectives.
• Manage teaching activities and continuously reflect on practice and development of skills.
• Undertake administrative duties to support teaching and learning.
• Contribute to Department-level activity.
