Job summary

Arden University invites applications for Lecturers to teach on the Applied Technology (Computing) Foundation Year, with potential expansion to Engineering/Cybersecurity and Data programmes. Expect 16 teaching hours weekly, campus-based and online delivery, and involvement in office hours and tutorials.

You will travel 3–4 days weekly to Stratford campus, contribute to programme development, assessment design, and student support, in a collaborative academic community.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in subject relevant to the teaching area.
• HE Teaching Qualification and/or Advance HE Fellowship at FHEA/SFHEA level or commitment to gain within 12 months of appointment.
• Evidence of CPD to enhance teaching capability and methods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 16 hours of teaching per week (4 groups) both on campus and online.
• Lead module development and maintain learning materials and schemes of work.
• Oversee assessment marking, create authentic assessments and provide feedback.
• Support creation/refresh of programmes to align with industry trends and employer needs.
