Job summary

Arden University in Nottingham is seeking a Lecturer in Psychology to join the Department of Psychology - UG to work on our Nottingham Campus. You will contribute to the development and delivery of our programmes and deliver excellent teaching, learning and support to our students.

You will act as a Personal Academic Coach, lead modules, design digital materials and provide high-quality feedback, while managing your teaching load and contributing to school activities.

Qualifications

• MSc in Psychology with GBC recognised by the BPS
• Experience in teaching, learning, assessment, dissertation supervision and pastoral care in Higher Education
• Track record of contributing to programme teams and being an inspiring lecturer
• AdvanceHE Recognition - FHEA or willing to achieve within 12–18 months

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent teaching, learning and support to our students.
• Act as a Personal Academic Coach (PAC) supporting students' engagement and progression.
• Lead and develop modules, ensuring high-quality learning materials and curriculum development.
• Design digital teaching material to meet defined learning objectives.
• Undertake assessment marking and provide high-quality feedback.
• Manage teaching activity and reflect on practice and development with guidance.
• Carry out administrative tasks to support teaching and learning activities.
• Contribute to School level activities.
