The School of Engineering is seeking a Lecturer to utilize their industry knowledge to help aspiring electricians excel in both practical and theoretical settings.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced electricians to transition into education, sharing their skills with the next generation.
The successful candidate will teach and assess students across Levels 1-3 on full-time, part-time, and apprenticeship programs at our Luton campus on Enterprise Way.
Our Electrical courses are delivered by tutors with extensive industry knowledge who collaborate closely with employers to develop students' skills.
We require candidates to have relevant industry-standard qualifications (such as Electrical installation competencies Part 1 & 2, Level 2 & 3, or Level 3 NVQ). Enthusiasm for helping individuals of all ages and abilities to reach their potential is essential. Assessing and IQA qualifications are advantageous.
A teaching qualification is desirable but not mandatory; training and support to attain one will be provided.
