Job summary

The Protocol Group is assisting a leading Further Education College in Hull to recruit an experienced Lecturer in Catering for an immediate start. The role focuses on delivering practical and theory-based lessons to develop learners' skills for successful careers in catering and hospitality.

The successful candidate will bring strong industry knowledge in confectionery, patisserie, and chocolate, and hold a relevant Catering/Hospitality qualification.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Catering, Professional Cookery or Hospitality.
• Strong vocational expertise in confectionery, patisserie, and chocolate.
• Relevant Catering, Hospitality or Professional Cookery qualification.
• Teaching qualification (preferred) or willingness to work towards one.
• Excellent communication and learner engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons for catering learners.
• Help learners develop skills for successful careers in catering and hospitality.
• Contribute to curriculum delivery and learner assessment as needed.
