Worth Recruiting - Property Industry Recruitment in Croydon is seeking a Credit Controller / Assistant Credit Controller to join a busy property management team. You will manage ground rent and insurance arrears, contact leaseholders by phone and email, resolve payment queries and maintain accurate records.

Candidates with experience in property management accounts will be preferred and you will work closely with the accounts and management teams to keep collections on track.

Qualifications

• Previous credit control or finance administration experience is beneficial.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
• Confident telephone manner for payment discussions.
• Strong written communication for emails and account correspondence.
• Proactive approach to following up outstanding payments and resolving queries.
• Reliable team player who can work independently and handle sensitive conversations.

Responsibilities

• Contact leaseholders by telephone and email to follow up on outstanding ground rent and insurance payments.
• Support the recovery of arrears and maintain regular contact to encourage payment.
• Respond to account queries and help resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate collection records and update account information.
• Liaise with accounts and property management teams to resolve issues and progress outstanding balances.
• Monitor overdue accounts and provide updates on collection activity.
