Job summary

Harlow College is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist learners, provide practical guidance and personal care support, and help with employment training. You will work with individuals and small groups, supporting their move toward independence in various settings.

The role requires a flexible, motivated team player who can communicate well and be solution-focused, with willingness to work both in‑class and off‑site locations. Training is funded by the college.

Qualifications

• Experience with young people with learning difficulties or disabilities.
• Educated to Level 2 Maths & English with good IT skills.
• Experience in an educational environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical learning guidance and personal care support.
• Deliver employment training for individuals or small groups.
• Work in classroom and off-site settings with flexible delivery.
