Job summary

NCG is seeking Learning Support Workers to join the Supported Learning Department on a term-time basis. The role focuses on assisting learners with mild to complex learning difficulties, autism, and ensuring their independence and participation in college life.

You will work under teaching staff, support 1:1 and small groups, with Level 2 English and maths, strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills, at Lewisham Way Campus.

Qualifications

• Sound literacy and numeracy skills.
• Level 2 English and maths.
• Competent IT skills.
• Experience of working with high needs learners is desirable.
• Ability to work in a team and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality targeted support for learners.
• Assist with independence, personal care needs and access to learning.
• Support learners in 1:1 and group settings.
• Promote integration into the College community.
• Term-time only role, Lewisham Way Campus, 40 weeks per year.
