Job summary

Loughborough College Group at Brooksby College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide in-class and online support to students with learning difficulties and disabilities. The role is term-time, 36 weeks, and part-time (08:30–16:30, Mon–Fri).

Candidates should have a Level 2 qualification in Maths and English, experience with young people, and a commitment to safeguarding, teamwork, and personal/academic independence for students.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people.
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
• Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE 4+ or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
• Provide online support to individuals and groups.
• Notetaking and mobility support as required.
• Support co-ordinators and course tutors to develop learning programmes.
