Loughborough College Group at Brooksby and Stephenson campuses invites applications for Learning Support Assistants to help students with learning difficulties across Entry level to Level 3/A Level. The role includes notetaking, personal care and mobility support, with in-class and online assistance.

This term-time position runs 08:30–16:30, 36 weeks per year, Monday–Friday. A Level 2 Maths/English GCSE or equivalent and safeguarding knowledge are required; strong communication and teamwork are

• Experience of working with young people.
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures.

Responsabilidades

• To support students in a sensitive, professional, discreet and confidential manner.
• To encourage personal and academic independence, self-empowerment and self-help skills wherever possible.
• To contribute to the development of individual learning programmes in liaison with Support Coordinators and course tutors.
• To ensure that students are receiving the appropriate level of support and report any issues to the Support Co-ordinators.
