Zusammenfassung

Ada, the National College for Digital Skills, is hiring two Learning Support Assistants as fixed-term roles for one year. You will support students with diverse needs, implement EHCP/LP plans, and work with teachers across sessions to maintain an inclusive learning environment.

The roles are term-time only and require safeguarding awareness and collaborative teamwork. Successful candidates will have GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above, and Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning,

Qualifikationen

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and to contribute to a team environment.

Aufgaben

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with varying needs.
• Implement EHCP/LP and ensure appropriate support and accommodations.
• Assist with classroom activities and prepare learning materials in collaboration with teachers.
• Monitor student progress and keep records of support and progress for teachers/parents.
• Collaborate with ALS Co-ordinator, Safeguarding, Attendance and Pastoral teams to coordinate student support.
• Maintain accurate records of progress, interventions and access arrangements.
• Support students in exams (reader, scribe) as required.
• Support safeguarding and the SEND team as training is provided.
